Delicous and interesting food, served in private rooms (which I understand is a bit luxe, but I would prefer to be at a counter or communal room). It was the first dinner in Japan for my husband, who is fussy, and he enjoyed everything. I enjoyed the quasi-Kaiseki progression of food. A great start to this trip!
